In an epic collaboration, I styled/art directed the amazing launch of Kester Black’s Pantone Colour of the Year.
I’ve worked with Kester Black for over a year delivering many services.
Kester Black owner, Anna Ross, the 2016 Australian Young Business Women’s Award Winner and entrepreneur, announced the release of a limited edition Pantone Colour of the Year nail polish, Greenery in November ’16.
Product styling for Kester Black’s collaboration with Pantone and styling for three further colour launches (December ’16, January ’17 and February ’17). Considering the many styling considerations including placement, colour ways, scale and ensuring the primary feature is the product.
Further work for Kester Black incorporated co-developing, delivering and analysing research from their existing client base to explore potential and inform future marketing strategies to position Kester Black, and Anna Ross, as a very real small business market disruptor in the extremely challenging big world of cosmetics where the likes of OPI and other brands maintain monopoly. The research uncovered passionate advocates and conscientious consumers. Intelligent buyers who want to know what is in their products. Insights gained through this process have been included in Kester Black’s short and long term business strategies, positioning internationally and consumer and wholesaler communications.
Reviewing Kester Black’s wholesale communications, I redesigned the wholesale and look books to ensure that they were more flexible with ongoing releases and could be easily updated with future campaign imagery.
